The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Monday

2:31 p.m. — Mulch was on fire in the 500 block of North Second.

2:36 p.m. — Illegal dumping was reported in the 50 block of West Broadway.

3:52 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 800 block of West Tyler.

4:24 p.m. — Illegal dumping was reported in the 2800 block of West Burlington.

4:30 p.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 200 block of East Pierce.

4:50 p.m. — Assault was reported in the 800 block of West Tyler.

5:25 p.m. — A traffic accident was reported in the 1000 block of South Sixth.

5:54 p.m. — A lost animal was taken to the Fairfield Veterinary Clinic.

7:07 p.m. — David Cole Fishback, 35, of Fairfield, was cited for operation without registration at Fifth and Polk.

7:30 p.m. — A dangerous driver crossing the centerline and talking on a cellphone was reported on South Ninth.

7:37 p.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 400 block of North F.

7:42 p.m. — Chloe Lynn McClaran, 19, of Fairfield, was cited for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied at Main and Fillmore.

7:55 p.m. — Overdose/poisoning was reported in the 2000 block of North Court.

7:55 p.m. — A disturbance was reported in the 300 block of East Buchanan.

9:40 p.m. — A business alarm sounded in the 2500 block of West Burlington.

11:07 p.m. — Police checked on the welfare of a driver at Fifth and Grimes.

11:44 p.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 400 block of North F.

 

Tuesday

4:24 a.m. — Maria Keshaun Swincoe, 21, of Fairfield was cited for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied and failure to prove security against liability (accident related) at Seventh and Monroe.

5:02 a.m. — Bad weather was reported.

5:16 a.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Third and Kirkwood.

7:24 a.m. — A suspicious camper in the Jefferson County Health Center parking lot was reported.

7:41 a.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.

8:02 a.m. — Caleb Kruse was arrested at Jefferson County Law Center for third-degree burglary.

9:49 a.m. — A verbal warning for no passenger-side brake light and no third brake light was issued at Sixth and Van Buren.

10:03 a.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 500 block of East Adams.

10:13 a.m. — A loud boom was reported in the area of Madison and Fourth.

11:19 a.m. — Two cows were reported loose in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:20 a.m. — Police investigated a theft at Fairfield Public Library.

1:12 p.m. — A complaint about parking in the 1100 block of South Seventh was reported.

2:04 p.m. — A hit-and-run was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.

3:36 p.m. — An erratic driver westbound on Broadway was reported.

4:44 p.m. — A hit-and-run accident on the Maharishi University of Management campus was reported.

5:57 p.m. — A barking dog in the 200 block of East Jefferson was reported.

7:50 p.m. — Richard Donald Chambers, 61, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 400 block alley between Jackson and Van Buren and charged with driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied.

8:05 p.m. — A parking concern was reported. A car was parked facing the wrong direction in the 300 block of East Hempstead.

9:01 p.m. — Police checked on the welfare of a driver at Seventh and Washington.

9:11 p.m. — A loud noise was reported in the 500 block of East Lowe Avenue.

9:43 p.m. — Disturbing the peace was reported in the 200 block of North Third. The caller could hear someone screaming and yelling.

11:23 p.m. — A citation was issued to Anna Hunter for expired driver’s license at 12th and Burlington. Shannon Campbel was arrested on several warrants out of Wapello and Davis counties.

11:50 p.m. — A complaint about a barking dog in the 500 block of South 15th was received.
