The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Friday

12:48 a.m. — A verbal warning for a broken headlight was issued in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

1:20 a.m. — Loud music was reported in the 1100 block of West Adams Avenue.

1:30 a.m. — Police checked the Blue River Construction building.

5 a.m. — The caller arrived at work in the 400 block of North B. The office door was wide open and all the lights were one. An officer walked through the building; it was secure.

7:41 a.m. — A seat belt violation was reported in a vehicle traveling south on North Fourth Street.

8:09 a.m. — A verbal warning for surrendered license was issued at Kirkwood and E.

9:16 a.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 300 block of South Third.

9:33 a.m. — A parking concern was reported in the 100 block of North Fourth.

10:37 a.m. — A parking concern was reported in the 50 block of South Court. The registered owner will move the vehicle.

12:22 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported on the southside of the square.

12:53 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 300 block of West Adams.

1:32 p.m. — A controlled substance was reported in the 500 block of North Fourth.

1:34 p.m. — A crossing arm malfunction was reported at the 23rd Street railroad crossing.

1:43 p.m. — An object was reported in the road at 32nd and Burlington.

4:29 p.m. — An abandoned vehicle was towed in the 400 block of West Adams.

4:55 p.m. — An abandoned vehicle was towed in the 500 block of West Madison.

5:10 p.m. — A controlled substance was reported in the 100 block of East Burlington.

6:29 p.m. — A dog bite was reported in the 800 block of North Court.

6:56 p.m. — A verbal warning for no driver-side brakelight was issued at Second and Grimes.

7:07 p.m. — Police checked on the welfare of a driver on East Buchanan.

8:17 p.m. — Police were contacted about trespassing on Maharishi University of Management campus.

8:18 p.m. — Police assisted EMTs in the 400 block of North F.

10:25 p.m. — A noise complaint was reported in the 1600 block of Dogwood Drive.

10:46 p.m. — A verbal warning for no headlights was issued at Chautauqua Park and Burlington.

11:09 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of East Madison.

11:16 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a broken license plate light at D and Burlington.

11:30 p.m. — Police provided information about park hours at Cedar View Trail.

11:39 p.m. — A parking concern was reported in the 300 block of East Buchanan.

11:49 p.m. — Erratic driving was reported in the 1700-1900 block of West Burlington.

 

Saturday

12:22 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 1700 block of West Burlington.

1 a.m. — Police provided information about park hours at O.B. Nelson Park.

1:38 p.m. — Destruction/damage/vandalism of property, burglary/breaking and entering was reported in the 1300 block of West Jackson.

2:13 a.m. — A noise complaint was reported at D and Washington.

7:04 a.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 600 block of North Main.

7:13 a.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Pleasant Plain and Walton roads.

7:29 a.m. — Stanley Kendz received a municipal infraction for speeding 25 in a 35 mph zone at F and Kirkwood.

7:58 a.m. — A municipal infraction was issued for speeding 25 in a 35 mph zone at Third and Burlington.

8:30 a.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Burlington and Highland.

8:37 a.m. — Paul Morehead received a municipal infraction in the 50 block of North Main for passing on the right at Main and Burlington.

9:11 a.m. — Michelle Lynn Seehafer received a municipal infraction for seat belt use at Fourth and Burlington.
