Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Sunday

10:32 a.m. — A malfunctioning traffic light was reported at Main and Madison.

1:33 p.m. — A verbal warning for no registration tag was issued at Madison and Glasgow. The subject had put the tag on the front of the vehicle.

2:48 p.m. — Police investigated theft/shoplifting in the 2700 block of West Burlington. At 3:26 p.m., Trista Kay Sisk, 34, of Fairfield was arrested in the 2900 block of West Grimes and charged with fourth-degree theft.

2:52 p.m. — A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 700 block of South Fifth.

3:52 p.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 400 block of North F.

6:55 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 700 block of West Burlington.

7:25 p.m. — Disorderly conduct was reported in the 200 block of East Pierce.

7:25 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 600 block of West Jackson.

8:43 p.m. — A loud noise complaint was reported near the 200 block of Buchanan.

10:18 p.m. — A noise complaint was reported in the 1000 block of East Briggs.

10:25 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 1600 block of Dogwood.

10:29 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of West Depot.

11:12 p.m. — A citation for driving under suspension was issued at Seventh and Liberty. A verbal warning was issued for no trailer lights.

11:13 p.m. — Police investigated sexual offenses (force - rape) in the 200 block of West Washington.

 

Monday

12:09 a.m. — Phone harassment was reported in the 900 block of West Hempstead.

2:22 a.m. — An officer checked the Sinclair Tractor building.

2:44 a.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 1600 block of West Burlington.

2:59 a.m. — Police investigated at Highway 34, Exit 214, eastbound. At 3:08 a.m., Sean Ryan Smith, 28, of Ottumwa, was arrested in the 2600 block of Glasgow Road and charged with interference with official acts, second-degree theft and eluding law enforcement vehicle (aggravated). At 3:08 a.m., Anthony Dean Lankford, 27, of Ottumwa, was arrested in the 2600 block of Glasgow Road and charged with interference with official acts.

4:59 a.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of East Briggs.

6:34 a.m. — A juvenile had his hand stuck in a lazy Susan cabinet in the 600 block of South Third.

7:02 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at Fourth and Jackson.

7:29 a.m. — Police investigated trespassing in the 200 block of East Briggs. At 7:36 a.m., Steven Mark Pilkington Jr., 37, of Ollie, was arrested in the 200 block of East Briggs and charged with criminal trespass.

9:20 a.m. — Sudden death and a body was reported in the 300 block of East Briggs.

10:05 a.m. — Harassment was reported in the 900 block of West Hempstead.

10:44 a.m. — Extra patrol was requested at O.B. Nelson Park. A subject was asked to turn her music down.

11:46 a.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 200 block of East Broadway.

12:30 p.m. — A traffic light malfunction was reported at Merrill and Fourth.

6:15 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Madison and D for no driver-side brake light.

7:06 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 1200 block of West Burlington for speed.

7:45 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at 12th and Jefferson for improper registration.

8:19 p.m. — Bad weather was reported.

8:26 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Second and Broadway for speed.

8:29 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 800 block of West Burlington for no passenger-side headlight.

9:11 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of North Main.

9:37 p.m. — Loose dogs were reported in the 200 block of North 28th.

9:48 p.m. — Disturbing the peace was reported in the 100 block of Rock Island Street in Libertyville.

10:22 p.m. — Subjects were advised of park hours at Waterworks Park.

10:34 p.m. — Subjects were advised of park hours at O.B. Nelson Park.

10:44 p.m. — Subjects were advised of park hours at Whitham Woods.

10:58 p.m. — Police checked on the welfare of a motorist in the 1700 block of South Main.

11:13 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Fillmore for a broken license plate light.

11:23 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 50 block of North 12th.

11:31 p.m. — Bad weather was reported.

 

Tuesday

12:14 a.m. -- Police checked the Fairfield Middle School.

12:33 a.m. -- Police checked the Fairfield Golf & Country Club.

12:51 a.m. -- A verbal warning was issued at Highland and Burlington for a broken license plate light. Police investigated for drugs-narcotic violations.

7:15 a.m. -- Police walked through Fairfield Middle School.

8:12 a.m. -- A traffic collision was reported at B and Burlington. Jacob Ives was cited for a stop sign violation.

8:39 a.m. -- Trespassing was reported in the 200 block of East Pierce.

9:57 a.m. -- Controlled substance paraphernalia was found in the 500 block of West Depot.

10:34 a.m. -- A dog complaint was reported.

5:21 p.m. -- A utilities hazard was reported in the 900 block of East Jefferson.
