The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Tuesday

7:57 p.m. — A suspicious person was reported in the 100 block of Harrison.

9:27 p.m. — Loud music was reported in the 1300 block of West Burlington.

9:39 p.m. — A barking dog was reported in the 500 block of West Kirkwood.

11 p.m. — A barking dog was reported in the 1600 block of Dogwood Drive.

11:42 p.m. — Police advised people of park hours at Reservoir No. 2.

11:59 p.m. — A verbal warning for no passenger-side headlight was issued on West Burlington Avenue.

 

Wednesday

12:18 a.m. — A verbal warning for a headlight outage was issued at C and Broadway.

1:50 a.m. — A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 900 block of North Ninth.

6:23 a.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 500 block of West Grimes.

7:55 a.m. — A verbal warning for speed was issued at F and Kirkwood.

7:56 a.m. — An erratic driving complaint was received on Highway 1 near the Cedar Creek bottom.

8:03 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of East Lowe. A person was asleep in his car.

9:04 a.m. — A road construction hazard was reported at Madison and Main.

9:14 a.m. — Traffic violations were reported in the 2000 block of Libertyville Road.

9:52 a.m. — Traffic light malfunctions were reported at Burlington and D and Burlington and Sixth.

10:50 a.m. — William Lee Brown, 55, of Ottumwa was arrested at Highway 98 in Eldon for eluding and driving while license is revoked. He was charged with eluding a law enforcement vehicle (aggravated misdemeanor). Note: See story on page 1.

11:01 a.m. — Stolen property was recovered in the 2200 block of Marigold Boulevard.

12:46 p.m. — Charles Flynn was arrested for riding on the train in the 400 block of North Main. He was charged with trespassing.

2:24 p.m. — Phone harassment was reported in the 300 block of Iowa Avenue.

3:01 p.m. — A business alarm sounded in the 600 block of West Stone.

4:54 p.m. — Police assisted a motorist at Main and Madison.

5:04 p.m. — Police were called to keep the peace in the 300 block of West Briggs.

5:18 p.m. — A noise complaint in the 400 block of West Hempstead was received. A citizen reported what sounded like gunshots.

6:11 p.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of North C.

8:39 p.m. — A suspicious person was reported in the 100 block of North Second.

9:04 p.m. — The fire department was called to First United Methodist Church.

9:11 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 900 block of East Jefferson.

9:23 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 900 block of South Fourth.

9:26 p.m. — A parking concern was reported in the 1000 block of Grand Park. The trailer was moved.

10:33 p.m. — A missing juvenile was found.

10:34 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for no plates in the 700 block of West Burlington. The subject has just bought the vehicle.

11:06 p.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 300 block of North C.

11:31 p.m. — Police advised subjects of park hours at Whitham Woods.
