The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Thursday

1:29 a.m. — Police checked a vehicle at Lamson Woods after park hours. It was not occupied.

1:35 a.m. — Police checked Pence Elementary School and found it secure.

3:11 a.m. — Police contacted a business in the 400 block of North Main about trespassing.

4:49 a.m. — A verbal warning for failure to stop at a flashing red light was issued at Third and Burlington.

8:14 a.m. — Police were contacted about forgery/counterfeit in the 50 block of South Fourth.

8:34 a.m. — Theft, a gas drive-off, was reported in the 500 block of North Fourth.

8:48 a.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of East Briggs.

8:52 a.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in the 1300 block of South Main.

9:07 a.m. — Police arrested a subject on a warrant in the 3000 block of West Burlington.

9:59 a.m. — Police investigated drugs-narcotic violations and drugs-equipment violations in the 3000 block of West Burlington.

11:20 a.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 900 block of North 10th.

11:28 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at Main and Grimes.

12:16 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 400 block of West Madison.

1:10 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 300 block of West Briggs.

2:20 p.m. — Police arrested a subject on a warrant in the 300 block of West Fillmore.

4:45 p.m. — Loud music was reported in the 1000 block of South Park.

6:16 p.m. — Police investigated a report of an assault in the 400 block of North B.

6:27 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of West Burlington. A subject was transported to Jefferson County Health Center for evaluation.

7:22 p.m. — Police investigated a narcotics violation at Harrison and Second.

7:31 p.m. — Benjamin Shane Bauer, 37, of Birmingham, was arrested at Harrison and Second and charged with driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied.

7:34 p.m. — A violation of a no-contact order was reported in the 500 block of North Court.

8:03 p.m. — Police checked on the welfare of a child locked in a car in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

8:05 p.m. — Police investigated a possible sexual assault in the 400 block of North D.
