The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Thursday

8:53 p.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 500 block of East Fillmore.

9:01 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of South Third.

9:08 p.m. — Police investigated a suspected burglary in the 200 block of East Broadway.

11:15 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 400 block of West Madison.

11:16 p.m. — Police checked Waterworks Park after hours.

 

Friday

12:08 a.m. -- Jefferson County Health Center reported a dog bite.

1:15 a.m. -- An animal concern was reported on South Fourth Street.

1:17 a.m. -- Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of East Buchanan.

3:30 a.m. -- Police assisted the sheriff’s office on Highway 34 one-half mile east of mile marker 212, westbound.

8:22 a.m.-- A municipal infraction citation for no valid driver’s license was issued at Pleasant Plain and Walton roads.

8:37 a.m. -- A verbal warning for no seatbelt was issued in the 700 block of West Washington.

9:02 a.m. -- An animal concern was reported in the 400 block of West Madison.

9:30 a.m. -- A verbal warning for speed in the 300 block of East Kirkwood was issued at Pleasant Plain Road and Lakeview.

10 a.m. -- Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of North Main.

11:25 a.m. -- A civil issue was reported in the 1100 block of South Fifth.

12:05 p.m. -- A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of West Washington. There was a verbal argument.

2:26 p.m. -- Police checked on the driver of a vehicle near the 2700 block of West Burlington. A large amount of smoke was coming out from under the truck and a flame was visible when the brakes were applied. The driver said he would take care of the issue.

3:46 p.m. -- A disturbance was reported at Jefferson County Health Center.

4:11 p.m. -- Police were asked to “keep the peace” in the 600 block of West Adams.

4:26 p.m. -- Theft was investigated in the 100 block of South Sixth.

6:03 p.m. -- Police assisted a vehicle in the 1400 block of Pleasant Plain Road.

6:50 p.m. -- An intoxicated person was reported in the 100 block of North Main.

8:12 p.m. -- An animal concern was reported in the 2000 block of North Court.

8:20 p.m. -- Harassment was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.

8:28 p.m. -- Steven N. Pilkington was arrested in the 200 block of West Burlington on a warrant for trespass.

9:19 p.m. -- Harassment was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

10:21 p.m. -- Gunshots or fireworks were reported in the area of Maple and Burlington.

11:18 p.m. -- A verbal warning for driving without headlights was issued in the 1600 block of West Burlington.

11:38 p.m. -- A verbal warning for a U-turn on Second Street was issued in the 100 block of West Broadway.

 

Saturday

12:10 a.m. -- A verbal warning for no third brake light was issued at Ninth and Burlington.

12:24 a.m. -- Garret Bowermaster, 19, Fairfield, was arrested for a mittimus warrant in the 600 block of West Monroe.

12:36 a.m. -- A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of West Washington.

2:41 a.m. -- Police assisted the county sheriff’s office. A caller reported she thought someone was trying to get into her home.

3:16 a.m. -- Police investigated assault-intimidation in the 800 block of South Ninth.

8 a.m. -- Police assisted the sheriff’s office at Ash and 240th in Batavia.

9:34 a.m. -- Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of East Hempstead.

10:13 a.m. -- Police assisted a motorist at Kelp and Gear.

10:18 a.m. -- A civil dispute occurred in the Jefferson County Law Center lobby.

10:55 a.m. -- A male mixed dog with a red collar was taken to the Veterinary Clinic PC.

11:23 a.m. -- A business alarm sounded in the 400 block of South 23rd.

12:01 p.m. -- An animal concern was reported at Pleasant Plain and Walton roads.

12:03 p.m. -- Police assisted a motorist in the 3000 block of West Burlington.

1:22 p.m. -- An animal concern was reported in the alley between Second and Monroe.

1:23 p.m. -- A verbal warning for a stop sign violation at Third and Broadway was issued at Fourth and Washington.

1:45 p.m. -- A verbal warning for a stop sign violation at Third and Broadway was issued at Third and Washington.

3:52 p.m. -- Phone harassment was reported in the 300 block of South D.

6:39 p.m. -- A stolen bike was reported in the 300 block of West Madison.

7:04 p.m. -- A verbal warning for a slow and go at Seventh and Jefferson was issued at Seventh and Jefferson.

7:18 p.m. -- A verbal warning for a slow and go at Seventh and Jefferson was issued in the 600 block of West Jefferson.

7:26 p.m. -- A verbal warning for a slow and go at Seventh and Jefferson was issued at Fifth and Jackson.

7:33 p.m. -- A civil issue was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.

7:44 p.m. -- A dangerous driver was reported at Third and Burlington.

8:14 p.m. -- Harassment was reported in the 300 block of South 12th.

8:49 p.m. -- Disturbing the peace was reported in the 300 block of East Pierce. A 4-wheeler was being ridden around the apartments on Pierce.

9:09 p.m. -- A civil matter was reported in the 400 block of North Second.

9:10 p.m. -- A verbal warning for driving with no headlights was issued at Fifth and Burlington.

9:18 p.m. -- A civil issue was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.

9:25 p.m. -- A noise complaint was reported in the 300 block of West Washington.

9:38 p.m. -- Police assisted the ambulance in the 50 block of West Broadway.

10:22 p.m. -- Suspicious activity was reported at Norm’s Storage.

10:31 p.m. -- Police assisted a disabled vehicle near US Cellular.

11:01 p.m. -- A noise complaint in the 600 block of Hillside Drive was received.

11:11 p.m. -- Suspicious activity, possibly an underage party, was reported in the 1900 block of Highway 1. No arrests were made.

11:20 p.m. -- Fraud was reported.

 

Sunday

12:01 a.m. -- Police assisted the ambulance in the 300 block of Wet Washington.

12:12 a.m. -- Harassment was reported inthe 600 block of West Monroe.

2:03 a.m. -- Police assisted with a disabled vehicle at B and Zimmerman.

8:08 a.m. -- A traffic light malfunction at Madison and Main was reported.

8:23 a.m. -- A parking concern was reported in the 600 block of West Adams.

12:33 p.m. -- Vagrancy panhandling was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

1:19 p.m. -- Animal bites were reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan.

4:09 p.m. -- A caller reported a male running around the ball fields at O.B. Nelson Park.

7:47 p.m. -- A verbal warning for a nonworking driver-side headlight was issued in the 200 block of West Washington.

8:05 p.m. -- Loud music was reported in the 300 block of East Burlington.

8:54 p.m. -- Harassment was reported at Highway 1 and 185th.

9:07 p.m. -- A verbal warning for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone on Kirkwood was issued on Pleasant Plain and Salina roads.

9:15 p.m. -- A verbal warning for a headlight issue was issued at B and Lowe.

9:25 p.m. -- A municipal infraction for a stoplight violation at Fourth and Burlington was issued to Bobbi Davisson at Second and Burlington.

9:48 p.m. -- A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Sixth and Burlington.

10:33 p.m. -- Loud music was reported in the 300 block of East Burlington.

11:20 p.m. -- A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 600 block of West Burlington.

11:36 p.m. -- A municipal infraction for speeding was issued to Abyni Gardner at Third and Washington.

11:54 p.m. -- Harassment was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.

 

Monday

12:17 a.m. -- A verbal warning for speeding was issued at D and Madison.

12:22 a.m. -- Criminal mischief was reported in the 400 block of North B.

4:26 a.m. -- Harassment was report in the 1200 block of North B.

7:37 a.m. -- A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1400 block of West Burlington. The vehicle was not stolen, just borrowed by a family member.

9:13 a.m. -- A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Court and Grimes.

9:18 a.m. -- A verbal warning for a broken passenger-side mirror was issued at Seventh and Kirkwood.

10:55 a.m. -- Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 2000 block of South Main.

1:11 p.m. -- A verbal warning for failure to yield was issued at Ninth and Briggs.

1:25 p.m. -- Trespassing was reported in the 900 block of West Harrison.

1:28 p.m. -- A utilities hazard was reported in the 500 block of South Fifth.

1:39 p.m. -- A traffic light malfunction was reported at Fourth and Merrill.

4:25 p.m. -- Mangala Josephine Rose Danaher, 33, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 600 block of North Main and charged with third-degree harassment.
