Police Report

The Fairfield Police Department has reported the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Friday

7:09 a.m. — A caller reported a sedan with no plates blocking the alley between Highland and Maple. Police arrested Jesse Lee Williams Haynes on a 8th Judicial Court DCS warrant. The vehicle was moved so it no longer blocked the alley.

7:45 a.m. — Extra patrol was requested at Fairfield Middle School. A walk through was requested between 8 and 8:20 a.m.

9:57 a.m. — A verbal warning for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone was issued at Main and Kirkwood.

10:28 a.m. — A verbal warning for a “slow and go” at Seventh and Jefferson was issued at Seventh and Taylor.

10:43 a.m. — A police vehicle was stopped by a female in the 700 block of West Grimes. She had witnessed a semi pull two power lines down. Alliant and LISCO were alerted to the situation.

10:52 a.m. — Orlando Wilburn, 35, of Fairfield, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.

11:31 a.m. — A citizen needed to file a police report per eBay policy in regard to fraud. He ordered a set of wrenches, but when he received the box, it was empty. The ends of the box were not secured, and the box had a sticker from the post office stating the box was open when it was received.

1:13 p.m. — Theft was reported at Pilot Grove Savings Bank in Packwood.

1:22 p.m. — Several calls were received about a male in the road near the 700 and 800 blocks of West Burlington. Charles Michael Flynn, 41, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was arrested and charged with public consumption or intoxication.

4:15 p.m. — A traffic accident was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

5:45 p.m. — A parking complaint was reported at the end of West Harrison.

6:09 p.m. — Theft was reported in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.

8:07 p.m. — Loud music was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.

8:22 p.m. — A verbal warning for a broken brake light was issued in the 1300 block of West Jackson.

8:44 p.m. — A verbal warning for no driver-side headlight was issued in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

8:56 p.m. — Suspicious behavior was reported in the 800 block of Liberty Drive.

9:31 p.m. — A possible dangerous driver was reported in the 1000 block of South Sixth.

9:33 p.m. — A verbal warning for not making a complete stop at a stop sign was issued at Main and Briggs.

9:35 p.m. — A noise complaint was reported at Waterworks Park.

11:30 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 500 block of East Burlington.

 

Saturday

12:13 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of West Briggs.

1:23 a.m. — A verbal warning for no driver-side or passenger-side brake lights was issued at Seventh and Harrison.

2:08 a.m. — Loud music was reported in the 1100 block of West Adams Court.

2:28 a.m. — A suspicious person was reported in the 700 block of South Second.

8:19 a.m. — A municipal infraction citation for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone was issued to Thomas N. Parker, 37, in the 2000 block of South Main.

8:57 a.m. — Behner Funeral Home requested a funeral escort.

9:06 a.m. — A walk through of the Jefferson County Courthouse was requested. The Auditors Office was the only office in the courthouse open, but someone could be heard walking upstairs. A magistrate judge was found working in the building.

9:17 a.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in the 500 block of South Main.

10:08 a.m. — Bad weather was reported.

10:32 a.m. -- A municipal infraction citation for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone was issued to Brittany N. Cline, 23, at Main and Kirkwood.

10:43 a.m. -- A municipal infraction citation for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone was issued to Rebecca R. Lansky, 31, in the 900 block of East Kirkwood.
