The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Saturday

11:17 a.m. — A verbal warning for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone was issued at Court and Kirkwood.

11:38 a.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of East Pierce.

2:52 p.m. — Police provided assistance at Jefferson County Health Center.

4:26 p.m. — Police spoke with a subject at Third and Polk.

5:27 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 400 block of North Court.

5:27 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of West Adams.

5:44 p.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in the 200 block of East Broadway.

6:25 p.m. — A verbal warning for no driver-side brake light was issued at 32nd and Tyler.

6:32 p.m. — An erratic driver was reported in the 500 block of West Burlington.

6:38 p.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 1200 block of West Burlington.

7:15 p.m. — A request was made for no trespassing in the 900 block of West Harrison.

8:23 p.m. — Police checked on a motorist in the 1600 block of West Burlington.

9:26 p.m. — Police assisted lost juveniles back to their family at Chautauqua Park.

9:31 p.m. — A verbal warning for no license plate light and no third brake light was issued at Main and Madison.

9:48 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 1000 block of South Main.

9:52 p.m. — A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 3000 block of West Grimes. Extra patrol was requested.

10:23 p.m. — Christopher Alan Jones, 46, of Agency, was arrested in the 2200 block of West Burlington and charged with driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied.

10:52 p.m. — A verbal warning for no plates was issued at Burlington and D.

11:04 p.m. — Subjects were advised of park hours at Chautauqua Park.

11:58 p.m. — Two adults were advised of park hours at O.B. Nelson Park.

 

Sunday

12:27 a.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 400 block of North B.

12:51 a.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 100 block of South 17th.

2:24 a.m. — Police provided warrant service in the 300 block of West Broadway.

3:14 a.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office in the 200 block of Church Street in Batavia.

3:46 a.m. — Police advised subjects of park hours at Lamson Woods.

9:14 a.m. — A caller reported her flowers have been stolen from her yard in the 200 block of Southgate Circle, again.

10:21 a.m. — An animal concern about a dog was reported.

11:28 a.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office in the 2000 block of Nutmeg.

1:14 p.m. — A caller reported two loud explosions in the 400 block of South Second that could have possibly been transformers. Police checked the area, but did not locate a problem. There were some reports of power outages in that area.

3:05 p.m. — A hazardous road condition was reported at Stone and Orchard. A street sign had blown over.

4:05 p.m. — Bad weather was reported.

5:08 p.m. — Creative Edge Master Shop was contacted about maintenance.

5:54 p.m. — An accident was reported at Second and Burlington.

6:32 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 700 block of North Third.

6:34 p.m. — Police assisted a driver at Fourth and Broadway.

7:48 p.m. — A broken bottle was reported on the square.

8:47 p.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Main and Kirkwood.

9:02 p.m. — A verbal warning for no lights on a trailer was issued at D and Broadway.
