The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Thursday

7:06 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Broadway for no driver-side brake light.

8:52 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 500 block of North Second for no passenger-side brake light.

9:15 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of West Burlington. A caller said the shop door was wide open and the owner’s vehicle was there, but he and his dog were not. The owner returned while police were there. He had been out on personal business.

10:03 a.m. — A business in the 1600 block of West Burlington requested a trespass.

10:36 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Kirkwood for a “slow and go” at the stop sign at Fourth and Kirkwood.

11:11 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Broadway for a stop sign violation at Fourth and Kirkwood.

12:01 p.m. — A civil issue was reported in the 200 block of South Second.

2:31 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 600 block of West Fillmore for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 500 block of West Fillmore.

3:57 p.m. — The Veterinary Clinic PC signed for dogs.

4:40 p.m. — A suspicious person was reported in the 300 block of East Lowe.

5:42 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 900 block of West Harrison.

5:47 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan. The caller reported being flipped off.

6:57 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 500 block of West Kirkwood.

7:02 p.m. — A tree limb fell on a parked car in the 800 block of South Ninth. No one was in the vehicle.

7:48 p.m. — Railroad crossing arm malfunctions were reported at the B and D street crossings.

8:04 p.m. — Timothy Hibbets, 31, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 200 block of Buchanan on a warrant for failure to appear.

8:30 p.m. — Police assisted with adult probation.

9:57 p.m. — A parking concern was reported at O.B. Nelson Park.

10:24 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Seventh and Tyler for a broken license plate light.

10:38 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at D and Burlington for no plates.

11:03 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at Broadway and Cromwell.

11:19 p.m. — A railroad crossing arm malfunction was reported at the D Street crossing.

 

Friday

2:24 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at D and Burlington for a broken taillight.
