Police Report

The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Monday

12:31 a.m. — A noise complaint was made in the 400 block of West Carpenter.

1:21 a.m. — A suspicious person was reported at B and Adams.

2:29 a.m. — Suspicious behavior was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

3:29 p.m. — A noise complaint was made in the 1300 block of Libertyville Drive.

5:55 a.m. — An animal complaint was made in the 300 block of South Sixth.

9 a.m. — A downed power line was reported in the 800 block of South Fifth.

9:11 a.m. — Police investigated burglary/breaking and entering in the 400 block of East Buchanan. A vehicle was broken into and semi parts were stolen.

9:35 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at B and Kirkwood for no driver’s side brake light.

10:29 a.m. — Police investigated burglary in the 200 block of North Ninth. Someone entered a vehicle and stole the manual to the car.

11 a.m. — Police investigated burglary in the 600 block of East Pierce.

1:15 p.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 600 block of West Carpenter.

4:23 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 300 block of South Sixth.

4:27 p.m. — A parking complaint was made in the 300 block of West Broadway.

5:55 p.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 800 block of West Briggs. The caller reported neighbors are stealing electricity from a rental house.

6:35 p.m. — A disturbance was reported at Jefferson County Health Center. The subject left without incident.

6:55 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 500 block of West Burlington for no plates. Everything was OK.

6:55 p.m. — A K-9 search was performed in the 500 block of West Burlington.

7:40 p.m. — A disabled vehicle was reported in the 100 block of East Lincoln. The vehicle was marked and later removed.

8 p.m. — A welfare check was requested in the 300 block of South D. The caller reported a subject came to his door asking for a ride out of town. The caller refused to give the subject a ride. The subject, wearing sweatpants and a yellow/green hoodie with a big cut across his abdomen, was on foot headed on South D. Police were unable to locate the subject.

8:06 p.m. — Phone harassment was reported in the 300 block of East Briggs.

9:26 p.m. — Burlington Northern Santa Fe reported receiving a call about three or four juveniles on the railroad tracks near Walton Lake.
