The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Tuesday

1:20 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at B and Kirkwood for a broken headlight.

1:33 a.m. — Police did a building check at The Walton Club.

2:04 a.m. — Police did a building check at Sinclair Tractor. The building was secure.

2:38 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Main and Washington for no headlights. Coty L. N. Walrip, 20, was cited for no driver’s license.

5:06 a.m. — Loud music was reported in the 1000 block of West Adams Avenue.

6:23 a.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 500 block of West Kirkwood. A dog was in a cage and had been barking for an hour.

7:38 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Pleasant Plain and Walton roads.

7:51 a.m. — A two-car acident was reported at Sixth and Monroe. No injuries were reported.

7:59 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of East Burlington.

8:11 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of North Court. A bicycle and a briefcase were left in the alley.

8:38 a.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 3000 block of West Madison.

9:05 a.m. — A suspicious person was reported at Fillmore and Main.

9:37 a.m. — Police assisted EMS in the 200 block of East Buchanan.

10:06 a.m. — A civil issue was reported in the 500 block of North Main.

10:22 a.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 100 block of West Hempstead.

11:17 a.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 500 block of West Jefferson.

12:33 p.m. — Police investigated arson in the 600 block of West Monroe. At 12:52 p.m., Jessica Mae Manchester, 32, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 600 block of West Monroe and charged with first-degree arson.

12:44 p.m. — A road closure was reported on 136th Street.

1:04 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of North Court.

1:30 p.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 100 block of South 17th.

3:34 p.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 2300 block of West Burlington.

3:38 p.m. — An officer performed warrant service in the eh 800 block of West Depot.

4:02 p.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office in the 1500 block of Jefferson Street in Batavia.

4:04 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at D and Madison for no driver-side brake light.

6:18 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 300 block of East Lowe.

6:33 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Fifth and Burlington for squealing tires at Fourth and Burlington. The driver said he lost traction on the wet pavement.

6:42 p.m. — Police assisted the 8th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services.

7:10 p.m. — Police assisted the Jefferson County Jail.

8:04 p.m. — Police were asked to check on the welfare of an elderly white male on crutches trying to “thumb a ride” at Second and Burlington. Everything was OK.

9:11 p.m. — A traffic accident was reported on North Eighth between Broadway and Briggs.

9:33 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Second and Iowa for no headlights.

10:06 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Carpenter for a “slow and go” at Fourth and Kirkwood.

10:06 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of East Burlington.

10:20 p.m.. — A civil dispute was reported in the 300 block of South 17th.

10:36 p.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 900 block of South Main.

11:43 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at C and Washington for a traffic violation.
