The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Saturday

8:46 p.m. — Burglary was reported in the 500 block of East Fillmore.

10:05 p.m. — Police investigated shoplifting and narcotic violations in the 2700 block of West Burlington. At 10:16 p.m., Glenntavius Montrell Nolan, 30, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

10:10 p.m. — Police assisted the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at Fourth and Stone.

10:48 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported and extra patrol was requested in the 500 block of West Adams.

 

Sunday

1:10 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of West Depot. The subjects were found trying to get their vehicle started.

2:27 p.m. — Disturbing the peace was reported in the 200 block of South C.

9:53 a.m. — Traffic violations were reported in the 600 block of West Burlington.

11:48 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at 12th and Burlington for a traffic violation.

2:01 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported in Council Bluffs.

2:43 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 900 block of South Sixth.

2:51 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Grimes for a traffic violation.

3:19 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 2500 block of West Burlington.

3:37 p.m. — Police investigated narcotic and equipment violations at Burlington and Highland. At 3:59 p.m., Jason Weston Gallup, 40, of Rome, Iowa, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:05 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at Main and Adams.

5:32 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 900 block of West Taylor.

8:11 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

8:19 p.m. — An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Wilson.

8:33 p.m. — A utilities hazard was reported at Fourth and Grimes.

9:28 p.m. — Desiree Adena Simmons, 20, of Batavia, was cited for failure to prove security against liability (accident related) in the 600 block of East Monroe.

10:58 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Fifth and Madison for a traffic violation.

 

Monday

1:23 a.m. — Police investigated operating while intoxicated at Third and Burlington. At 1:49 a.m., Andrew Ty Gregory Stockwell, 19, of Douds, was arrested and charged with OWI-first offense.

7:07 a.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 500 block of West Adams. The dog was boarded.

9:02 a.m. — A business alarm sounded in the 800 block of South Main. Everything was OK.

9:19 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Sixth and Adams for running a stop sign.

9:31 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 1300 block of West Jefferson for running a stop sign.

9:45 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Seventh and Tyler for running a stop sign.

9:46 a.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 300 block of East Burlington.

10:18 a.m. — Forgery/counterfeit was reported in the 2400 block of West Burlington.

10:27 a.m. — A worker reported entering a confined space at Fairfield Wastewater Treatment Plant.

2:17 p.m. — Police investigated theft from a motor vehicle in the 200 block of East Broadway.

2:19 p.m. — Police investigated theft of a weedeater in the 2100 block of West Burlington.

3:28 p.m. — Loud music was reported on Fourth Street between Madison and Monroe.

5:38 p.m. — An animal issue was reported in the 2500 block of West Burlington.

7:58 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan.

8:23 p.m. — A citizen called with a parking concern. Police helped direct traffic when the volleyball game ended.

8:45 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 500 block of West Adams.

10:10 p.m. — Police checked the Elite Tire & Auto Center building. Everything was OK.

11:10 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 800 block of West Briggs.

11:43 p.m. — Franklin Grant Eddleman, 34, of Lockridge, was cited at Sixth and Harrison for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied and for expired registration.
