POLICE

The Fairfield Police Department has reported the following logged at dispatch:

 

Friday

1:25 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation at Adams and Fifth. A verbal warning was given.

9:05 a.m. — A citizen provided information about My Lucky Day.

9:20 a.m. — A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported at Chautauqua Park.

10:14 a.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 100 block of South Main.

12:52 a.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

1:36 p.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of West Burlington.

2:10 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped in the 600 block of West Jefferson for failure to stop. A verbal warning was issued.

2:20 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped in the 600 block of West Jefferson for failure to stop. A verbal warning was issued.

2:55 p.m. — Trespassing was reported at Midwest Base.

4:38 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for speeding in the 2100 block of 32nd Street.

4:56 p.m. — Theft was reported at Norm’s Storage.

5:22 p.m. — A welfare check was requested at Tony’s Turbo.

6:39 p.m. — Logli’s reported theft; a subject drove off without playing for gas.

7:31 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a traffic violation at Logli’s.

7:50 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a headlight out at McDonald’s Restaurant.

 

Saturday

12:18 a.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office on Highway 34 near mile marker 211.

12:42 a.m. — Garbage was dumped all over the O.B. Nelson Park shelter.

1:35 a.m. — A welfare check was requested at The Hideaway.

1:53 a.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 800 block of West Harrison.

4:08 a.m. — Police did a building check at Sinclair Tractor.

4:18 a.m. — Police did a building check at the Orpheum Theater.

4:52 a.m. — Livestock was reported in the 900 block of West Burlington. Police were unable to locate the animals.

4:54 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a headlight that was out at Sixth and Burlington.

8:19 a.m. — A verbal warning for failure to stop was issued at Seventh and Jackson.

8:44 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued for no plates at Seventh and Adams.

9:36 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued for failure to stop at Fourth and Hempstead.

10:07 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued for failure to stop at Kirkwood and Court.

10:50 a.m. — A written warning was issued for speeding in the 2200 block of 32nd Street.

10:52 a.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

12:24 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

1:18 p.m.. — A trespassing complaint was made at Super 8.

1:53 p.m. — An obstruction in the roadway was reported on Third Street between Lowe and Kirkwood.

1:56 p.m. — An animal was reported at Fairfield Hy-Vee.

2 p.m. — An illegal substance was found and reported at Norm’s Storage.

5:27 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 500 block of West Broadway.

6:52 p.m. — A 911 misdial was received.

6:52 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for no passenger-side headlight near Smithburg Auto.

7:02 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for no passenger-side brake light at Ninth and Kirkwood.

7:17 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a traffic violation at Maple and Burlington.

7:53 p.m. — After stopping a vehicle for a nonworking headlight, police cited Orielle Anais Caldwell, 25, of Fairfield for fraudulent use of registration.

8:03 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 2100 block of Key.

8:41 p.m. — Ottumwa Police Department advised of a missing person.

10:20 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a nonworking headlight at Court Street and Jefferson Avenue.

11:22 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a passenger-side headlight that was almost out at 12th Street and Adams Avenue.
