POLICE

The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at dispatch:

Wednesday

6:31 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 900 block of West Harrison.

8:03 a.m. — A dog complaint was reported in the 100 block of West Madison.

9:58 a.m. — Harassment was reported.

11:09 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at Jefferson County Public Health.

11:24 a.m. — A verbal warning for failure to stop was issued at Seventh and Tyler.

11:42 a.m. — Trespassing was reported at Reid Powersports.

12:18 p.m. — Trespassing was reported at Lantern Park Apartments.

12:30 p.m. — A civil matter was reported in the 900 block of West Harrison.

2:42 p.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of West Washington.

4:16 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

4:24 p.m. — A misdailed 911 call was received.

4:35 p.m. — Casey’s General Store-South reported larceny theft.

5:03 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for failure to stop at Seventh and Jackson.

5:17 p.m. — Police assisted the sheriffs office in the 1700 block of Pleasant Plain Road.

5:20 — A verbal warning was issued for a taillight outage at Third and Burlington.

5:45 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of East Briggs.

5:48 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a traffic violation in the 1700 block of Pleasant Plain Road.

7:23 p.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in the 300 block of West Broadway.

7:59 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for speed at D and Washington. A verbal warning was issued.

9:11 p.m. — A violation of a no-contact order was reported at Golden Dome Market Cafe.

10:08 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for speed in the 1100 block of West Burlington. A verbal warning was issued.

11:38 p.m. — Police performed a building check at Fairfield Golf & Country Club.

 

Thursday

12:11 a.m. — Theft was reported in the 1300 block of West Jackson.

12:37 a.m. — A welfare check was performed at Burlington and Main.

3:08 a.m. — Police performed a building check at Fairfield Flying Service.

3:18 a.m. — An alarm sounded at Airgas USA.

 

SHERIFF

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office reported the following:

Friday

7:41 p.m. — Michael Keith Perrenoud, 70, of Houghton, was driving a 2003 Toyota MTX south on Tamarack Avenue near Sasafrass Boulevard and struck a deer. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
