POLICE

The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at dispatch:

 

Friday

8:57 a.m. — Jefferson County Health Center requested officer assistance.

9:12 a.m. — Harassment was reported in the 100 block of South Main.

9:48 a.m. — A dog in the roadway at D and Burlington was reported.

10:45 a.m. — A vehicle hit a deer in the 2100 block of South 32nd. A salvage deer tag was issued.

11:01 a.m. — A burglary was reported at Reed Power Sports.

11:08 a.m., — A fire alarm sounded in the 1600 block of Timberlake.

11:23 a.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

11:49 a.m. — Behner Funeral Home requested a funeral escort.

12:17 p.m. — Information was requested regarding trespassing.

1:09 p.m. — An auto insurance scam was reported in the 1000 block of North 12th.

1:22 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of South E.

1:45 p.m. — A gas drive off was reported at Jet Stop.

1:47 p.m. — A theft was reported at Happy Nails.

2:25 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

4:43 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of East Briggs.

7:33 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a traffic violation at Washington and Main.

7:47 p.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 300 block of West Madison.

7:53 p.m. — A complaint was received of an erratic driver on West Grimes.

8:16 p.m. — Suspicious activity at Fourth and Merrill was reported.

10:53 p.m. — Randall Woodson, 22, of Fairfield was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in the 200 block of East Pierce.

10:05 p.m. — Loud noises, possibly gunshots or fireworks, were reported in the 100 block of Wilson.

10:58 p.m. — A parking complaint was received about a vehicle in the 500 block of East Washington.

11:21 p.m. — Vandalism was reported in the Walmart parking lot. Multiple vehicles had windows chalked with in appropriate language and pictures.

 

Saturday

12:58 a.m. — Police performed a welfare check.

1:16 a.m. — A disturbance of the peace was reported in the 600 block of East Burlington.

3:10 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at Sinclair Tractor. Police spoke with the driver of a van delivering parts.

5:55 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of South E.

6:01 a.m. — Police assisted the Mt. Pleasant police.

8:23 a.m. — Fairfield Friends Church requested a funeral escort.

8:42 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped for traveling 35 mph in a 25 mph zone at B and Broadway. A verbal warning was issued.

8:49 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped for traveling 35 mph in a 25 mph zone on East Burlington. A verbal warning was issued.

8:57 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped for traveling 35 mph in a 25 mph zone at Maple and Burlington. A verbal warning was issued.

9:23 a.m. — Orlando Emilio Arrocha Graell, 45, of Longwood, Florida, was cited for failure to obey a stop or yield sign at Second and Stone.

10:02 a.m. — A civil issue was reported between a parent and child at D and Grimes.

10:07 a.m. — Vandalism was reported. Someone had wrote all over his car during the night.

11:22 a.m. -- A parking complaint was reported in the 600 block of West Jefferson.

1:26 p.m. -- A violation of a no-contact order was reported on the Maharishi University of Management campus.

2:37 p.m. -- A verbal warning was issued for passing on the right at Second and Burlington.

2:43 p.m. -- A vehicle was stopped at Seventh and Jefferson for traveling 35 mph in a 25 mph zone. A verbal warning was issued.

2:46 p.m. -- A verbal was issued for passing on the right at Second and Burlington.

2:51 p.m. -- A verbal warning was issued for no seat belt at Second and Briggs.

2:53 p.m. -- A verbal warning was issued for a traffic violation at Second and Harrison.

3:02 p.m. -- A verbal warning was issued for passing on the right at Second and Burlington.

3:07 p.m. -- Police performed a welfare check in the 200 block of East Pierce.

3:29 p.m. -- Caleb Whitney Kruse, 33, of Fairfield, was stopped for speeding at Burlington and Maple. A verbal warning was issued for speeding. A citiation was issued for not having a valid driver’s license.
