POLICE

The Fairfield Police Department report the following logged at dispatch:

 

Saturday

3:31 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for passing on the right at Second and Burlington.

3:36 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped in the 50 block of North Main because of a driver-side brake light outage. A verbal warning was issued.

3:38 p.m. — Johnny B. Spencer Jr., 33, of Fairfield, was cited for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied in the 50 block of East Burlington.

3:55 p.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office in the 800 block of West Kirkwood.

3:55 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for traveling 35 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 100 block of East Burlington. A verbal warning was issued for the traffic violation, and a written warning was issued for not having a current insurance card in the vehicle.

4:06 p.m. — The road in the 300 block of West Grimes was closed.

4:45 p.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 500 block of East Adams.

4:50 p.m. — A lost-and-found item was reported at Everybody’s Whole Foods.

6:13 p.m. — Police served a warrant in the Jefferson County Jail.

6:55 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a non-functioning taillight in the 500 block of North Second.

7:05 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a non-functioning taillight in the 2000 block of West Burlington.

7:13 p.m. — Fallyn Dalene Kathryn Garrison, 21, of Fairfield, was citied for operating without registration at Sixth and Burlington.

7:15 p.m. Glenntavius Montrell Nolan, 29, of Fairfield, was cited for failure to have a valid license or permit for operating a motor vehicle at Fifth and Burlington.

7:45 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a nonfunctioning headlight at Ninth and Burlington.

8 p.m. — Amy Lynn Woodson, 43, of Keosauqua, was cited for driving while suspended, no proof of insurance and expired registration.

8:15 p.m. — Todd Christopher Brown, 51, of Richland was cited for operating a non-registered vehicle at Sixth and Jackson.

11:40 p.m. — Police walked through Arbor Bar.

11:43 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for speeding in the 1000 block of Pleasant Plain Road.

11:50 p.m. — A possible domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of North Main.

 

Sunday

12:22 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a stop light violation on Highway 1 near the Maharishi University of Management campus.

12:32 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a stop light violation on Highway 1 near the Maharishi University of Management campus.

1:09 a.m. — Glenntavius Nolan, 29, of Fairfield, was cited for failure to have a valid driver’s license or permit for operating a motor vehicle, failure to respond to a steady red signal, open container in motor vehicle-driver, and failure to prove security against liability-nonaccident related.

1:12 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a broken taillight near Depot and Fourth.

1:42 a.m. — Loud music was reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan.

2:20 a.m. — A public disturbance was reported at Main and Broadway.

4:17 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 700 block of West Burlington.

8:47 a.m. — A missing person was reported

11:36 a.m. — A 911 misdial was received.

2:47 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at Fifth and Monroe.

5 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for no headlights at Sixth and Washington.

5:36 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped in the 2000 block of West Burlington for not having a driver-side headlight. A verbal warning was issued.

6:39 p.m. — Police assisted the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office.

7:19 p.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office on Highway 34 near exit 212.

8:16 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a registration violation.

 

Monday

12:06 a.m. — Police checked the Walton Club.

12:15 a.m. — Todd Christopher Brown, 51, Richland was cited for operation without registration at Libertyville Road and Main.

3:40 a.m. — Police checked the buildings around the Fairfield square.

8:44 a.m. — First United Methodist Church requested a funeral escort.

9:18 a.m. — A citation for failure to have a valid license or permit for operating a motor vehicle was issued to Maria Audrey Juarez, 26, of Fairfield, at Eighth and Taylor.

10:10 a.m. — A verbal warning for fraudulent registration was issued at Eighth and Kirkwood.

10:33 a.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 100 block of East Broadway.

12:05 p.m. — A verbal warning for a red light traffic violation was issued to a driver on West Burlington.

12:16 p.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 600 block of South Fifth.

12:39 p.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 100 block of East Broadway.

1:01 p.m. — A dump site was reported at the entrance to Waterworks.

1:52 p.m. — An accident was reported in the Logan Apartments parking lot.

2:15 p.m. — JCHC Walk-In Clinic reported animal bites.

2:16 p.m. — An animal was reported in the 900 block of South Sixth.

2:43 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 300 block of South Third.

3:59 p.m. — An erratic driver was reported northbound near Main and Fillmore.

7:53 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for speed at Second and Burlington. A verbal warning was issued.

8 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for speed at B and Burlington. A verbal warning was issued.

8:28 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for speed at Main and Burlington. A verbal warning was issued.

8:37 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for speed in the 800 block of West Burlington. A verbal warning was issued.

10:07 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of West Adams.

10:21 p.m. — Ottumwa Police Department reported a runaway.

11:05 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped at Fourth and Kirkwood. A verbal warning was issued for expired registration.

11:06 p.m. — Casey Lawler, 26, of Fairfield, was arrested on simple assault charges in the 1000 block of West Adams.

 

Tuesday

1:11 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped at Adams and D for no license plate light. Kenneth Head, 35, of Chicago, was cited for failure to have a valid license or permit for operating a motor vehicle.

2:48 a.m. — Motorist assistance was provided in the 300 block of South 17th.

3:11 a.m. — Bad weather was reported.

5:19 a.m. — Police checked the Reeds PowerSports building.
