POLICE

The Fairfield Police Department reported the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Friday

9:02 a.m. — Police assisted a subject in retrieving a bag with her belongings from her former boyfriend.

12:38 p.m. — A burglary/breaking and entering was reported in the 800 block of West Grimes.

12:59 p.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 400 block of West Burlington.

12:59 p.m. — Traffic violations were reported at Main and Washington.

1:21 p.m. — Todd Christopher Brown, 51, of Richland was cited for operating a non-registered vehicle at Harrison Apartments.

4:34 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation at Fourth and Burlington. A verbal warning was issued.

4:45 p.m. — Justin Haynes 24, of Fairfield, was arrested at Dollar Tree on a warrant for driving while suspended.

4:57 p.m. — Hong Gu, 28, of Fairfield, was arrested at Jefferson County Health Center and charged with domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury.

5:19 p.m. — A misdaialed 911 call was received.

5:58 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 200 block of East Briggs.

6:43 p.m. — A civil dispute was reported at the Jefferson County Law Center.

9:18 p.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office in the 1600 block of Old Highway 34.

10:21 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for a broken headlight at Third and Burlington. A verbal warning was issued.

10:26 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 300 block of North Sixth.

11:30 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported at Drish Construction. Police checked the building.
