POLICE

The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Friday

11:34 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for a non-functioning headlight on Highway 34 south of Exit 212.

11:48 p.m. — A suspicious vehicle was checked at Foursquare Gospel Church.

 

Saturday

12:21 a.m. — Police checked the Fairfield County Club building.

12:41 a.m. — Police assisted a disabled vehicle at Dollar General.

2:23 a.m. — Barking dogs were reported in the 600 block of West Jackson.

3:21 a.m. — Bad weather was reported.

4:51 a.m. — Barking dogs were reported in the 600 block of West Jackson.

8:58 a.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office on Jefferson Henry Avenue in Lockridge.

12:10 p.m. — An animal was reported in the 900 block of South Sixth.

12:27 p.m. — A request to check on the welfare of a person in the 300 block of North Court was received.

12:50 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

2:11 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped at Seventh and Jefferson for failure to obey a stop sign. A verbal warning was issued.

4:48 p.m. — Shoplifting was reported at Sears.

4:54 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped at Second and Broadway for failure to yield during a left turn. A verbal warning was issued.

5:22 p.m. — Police investigated a theft in the 300 block of North Court.

6:25 p.m. — Larceny was reported in the 300 block of North Court.

8:46 p.m. — Bad weather was reported.

8:47 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of West Broadway.

9:38 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance at Burger King.

9:54 p.m. — Police checked the Tractor Supply Company building.

9:59 p.m. — Police checked the Fairfield Middle School building.

10:11 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped at Harrison and Fourth for a broken license plate light. A verbal warning was issued.

10:29 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for expired plated at Fillmore and Main. A verbal warning was issued.

10:38 p.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office by performing a welfare check on a vehicle on the Highway 34 210 on-ramp.

11:33 p.m. — Police investigated the report of operation of a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, along with a single motor vehicle collision at Fourth and Deport. At 1:13 a.m. Sunday, Brandi Diane McAnnally, 27, of Richland, was arrested at the Jefferson County Law Center and charged with public consumption or intoxication.

 

Sunday

12:15 a.m. — A vehicle was stopped for speed at Second and Broadway. A verbal warning was issued.

12:49 a.m. — A citizen provided information.

2:21 a.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

2:32 a.m. — Information about a missing person/runaway was provided.

2:46 a.m. — Bad weather was reported.

7:30 a.m. — Offenses against family was reported in the 400 block of South 14th.

9 a.m. — An animal was reported in the 600 block of North Court.
