The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Dec. 26

4:50 p.m. — Cynthia Lankford, 48, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 300 block of West Washington on three warrants: trespass (simple); theft-fifth (simple); and theft-second (aggravated).

8:04 p.m. — Bad weather was reported.

8:43 p.m. — Police moved fallen debris from the roadway at Park and Kodi.

9:14 p.m. — Gunshots were reported in Waterworks Park. Fireworks were being shot off.

10:56 p.m. — Police investigated a domestic argument in the 50 block of West Broadway.

11:25 p.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in the 200 block of East Fillmore.

 

Dec. 27

3:05 a.m. — Bad weather was reported.

6:53 a.m. — An alarm sounded at Golf Links to the Past.

7:42 a.m. — An alarm sounded at Iowa State Bank.

12:31 p.m. — Police did a welfare check in the 400 block of West Hempstead.

12:43 p.m. — Police investigated a theft at Reeds Motorsports.

3:08 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

3:09 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 100 block of North Main.

5:21 p.m. — Police assisted the Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office.

7:17 p.m. — Offenses against family was reported in the 300 block of West Briggs.

7:19 p.m. — Police investigated a $40.86 gas drive-off at Logli’s.

7:50 p.m. — Police did a welfare check in the 100 block of West Broadway.

7:53 p.m. — An animal was reported in the 50 block of North 28th.

8:17 p.m. — Alan Wayne Bolibaugh, 56, of Fairfield, was cited for failure to prove security against liability (non-accident related) at Harrison and Main.

8:20 p.m. — A minor traffic collision was reported in the 1300 block of West Burlington.

8:45 p.m. — A lost cellphone was turned in.

9 p.m. — A warrant was served at Jefferson County Jail.

10:05 p.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in the 1300 block of West Jackson.

10:25 p.m. — Marquez Deontate Bane, 23, of Fairfield, was cited at Second and Fillmore for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied. Verbal warnings were given for failure to display registration and no insurance.

 

Thursday

12:28 a.m. — A welfare check was requested in the 2100 block of Ruby Lane.

1:29 a.m. — Police checked the Fairfield Golf & Country Club.

1:44 a.m. — Police checked the Walton Club.

1:58 a.m. — Police checked the Orpheum Theatre.

1:59 a.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of East Briggs.

3:47 a.m. — Police assisted the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.

4:16 a.m. — Police assisted the Department of Correctional Services of the 8th Judicial District in Mt. Pleasant.

6:44 a.m. — An alarm sounded at a business in the 300 block of West Lowe.

7:33 a.m. — A verbal warning for careless driving was issued at Ninth and Grimes.

8:51 a.m. — Fraud was reported at Jefferson County Health Center.

9:04 a.m. — Trespassing was reported at Hy-Vee Gas.

10:01 a.m. — Police assisted the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.

10:11 a.m. — Vandalism was reported at the Maharishi University of Management recreation center.

11:46 a.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

12:09 p.m. — Police provided assistance in the 200 block of East Washington.

12:55 p.m. — Police assisted with a disabled vehicle on South Seventh.

1:06 p.m. — Police investigated the burglary of a storage unit in the 200 block of West Lowe.

2:10 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

2:26 p.m. — Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of West Briggs.

2:30 p.m. — Police investigated fraud in the 1000 block of Radiance Circle.

2:30 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Broadway for not stopping at a red light.

5:44 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

6:16 p.m. — A hazardous road condition was reported in the 400 block of South Court.

6:22 p.m. — Police investigated an offense.

7:01 p.m. — Police assisted the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office.

7:02 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a nonworking headlight at Seventh and Tyler.

7:45 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for a nonworking headlight at Harrison and Main.

9:45 p.m. — A single-car accident was reported at Madison and Highland.

10:50 p.m. — A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported at Second and Stone.

 

Friday

3:03 a.m. — Police checked the Fairfield Golf & Country Club.

9:14 a.m. -- Larceny theft was reported in the 400 block of East Washington.

9:15 a.m. -- A verbal warning was issued to the driver of a vehicle that slide through an intersection at Fairfield High School.

9:17 a.m. -- A safe was found in the 300 block of South C.

11:01 a.m. -- Extra patrol was requested in the 1500 block of Lone Oak Circle.

12:19 p.m. -- Harassment was reported at First United Methodist Church.

1:14 p.m. -- Telephone harassment was reported in the 400 block of North B.

1:36 p.m. -- A misdialed 911 call was received.

2:11 p.m. -- A dangerous driver was reported at Fairfield Middle School.

2:14 p.m. -- Extra patrol was requested in the 1100 block of North B.

2:36 p.m. -- A propane smell was reported in the 2900 block of West Adams.

3:47 p.m. -- A written warning was issued to the driver of a vehicle with expired registration at Second and Washington.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports:

 

Dec. 24

9:48 p.m. — A 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Joshua James Glotfelty, 38, of Bellevue, Nebraska, struck a deer in the 1500 block of Packwood Road. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
