The Fairfield Police report the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Thursday

12:30 a.m. — Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing person.

12:55 a.m. — Phone harassment was reported in the 900 block of North Ninth.

1:28 a.m. — Loud music was reported in the 1100 block of West Adams.

9:19 a.m. -- Alisha Ann Opperman, 26 ,of Fairfield, was arrested in the 1200 block of West Jefferson and charged with driving while barred.

9:21 a.m. -- A parking situation at Briggs and Court was reported.

10:28 a.m. -- Warrant service was provided in the 600 block of South 23rd.

10:35 a.m. -- Fraud was reported.

10:42 a.m. -- Warrant service was provided in the 200 block of North Court.

11:01 a.m. -- A traffic accident at Ninth and Burlington was reported.

11:41 a.m. -- A house alarm in the 900 block of South Eighth was reported.

12:21 p.m. -- A parking situation was reported in the 1300 block of Wet Burlington Avenue.

12:31 p.m. -- Harassment was reported in the 600 block of West Van Buren.

1:13 p.m. -- A lost-and-found item was reported at the post office.

1:22 p.m. -- An accident at Sixth and Burlington was reported..

2:47 p.m. -- A lost-and-found items was reported at Madison and Sixth.

3:53 p.m. -- Warrant service was provided in the 200 block of North Ninth.

4:35 p.m. -- A verbal warning was reported for a traffic violation at Second and Lowe.

4:52 p.m. -- Warrant service was provided in the 500 block of South Maple.

5:07 p.m. -- A misdialed 911 call was received.

5:22 p.m. -- Suspicious activity was reported in the 1500 block of Southview Circle. Police found a person waiting to pick up someone.

5:55 p.m. -- A utilies hazard was reported in the 400 block of West Carpenter.

5:56 p.m. -- Police assisted the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office.

6:14 p.m. -- Jason Baker was cited for no driver’s license and a traffic violation verbal warning was issued in the 800 block of West Burlington.

7:46 p.m. -- A vehicle was stopped in the 500 block of North Second for no passenger-side headlight, no driver-side taillight and expired registration. A verbal warning was issued for all. The vehicle is currently registered and the driver needs to put the new sticker on.

8:18 p.m. -- Police assited the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

8:37 p.m. -- Warrant service was provided in the 300 block of West Broadway.

9:42 p.m. -- A building alarm sounded in the 2000 block of Brookville Road.

9:44 p.m. -- Thomas Todar was arrested on a warrant for fingerprints at the Jefferson County Law Center.

10:14 p.m. -- A person was having a mental issue in the 200 block of East Briggs.

10:30 p.m. -- Suspicious activity was reported in the 1700 block of Shooting Star Avenue.
