The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

 

Friday

8:13 a.m. — A verbal warning for failure to display registration was issued at Sixth and Grimes.

9:16 a.m. — A verbal warning for failure to display registration and provide proof of financial liability was issued in the 2200 block of West Burlington.

9:54 a.m. — A verbal warning for an expired registration was issued on the Maharishi University of Management campus. The driver had the current sticker in the vehicle and was advised to attach the sticker as soon as possible.

10 a.m. — A caller complained about the Second Street railroad crossing.

10:08 a.m. — Sixth Street, from Washington to Jefferson, was closed.

10:18 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 900 block of West Hempstead.

10:39 a.m. — A verbal warning for no front plate was issued in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.

10:43 a.m. — Assault was reported in the 500 block of West Washington.

10:55 a.m. — Police investigated criminal mischief in the 700 block of West Jefferson.

11:12 a.m. -- Psychiatric behavior was reported in the 500 block of South E.

11:52 a.m. — Assault was reported at Broadway and Court.

3:49 p.m. — A vehicle was towed to a subject’s backyard in the 300 block of North Fifth.

4:56 p.m. — Police assisted Wapello County Sheriff’s Office.

5:28 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 300 block of East Burlington.

6:01 p.m. — A noise complaint was reported in the 300 block of West Burlington.

6:14 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.

6:59 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.

7:11 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

7:38 p.m. — A verbal warning for no taillights was issued at D and Jackson.

8:36 p.m. — Police assisted the ambulance in the 800 block of West Jackson.

8:51 p.m. — A vehicle driven by Kenneth Michael Boughner, 21, of Fairfield, was stopped for the plates not matching the vehicle in the 600 block of West Van Buren. The plates were removed from the vehicle, and Boughner was cited for failure to prove security against liability (non-accident related).

8:57 p.m. — A verbal warning for improper display of license plate was issued in the 2700 block of West Burlington. The license plate was in the back window, which was heavily tinted. The driver was advised to get it put on the rear of the vehicle as soon as possible.

9:07 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for white light showing to the rear of a vehicle in the 1700 block of South Main.

9:09 p.m. — A verbal warning for no passenger-side brake light and no third brake light was issued in the 100 block of South Main.

9:24 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for no driver-side headlight in the 100 block of South Main.

9:40 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

10:41 p.m. — A disturbance was reported in the 50 block of South 12th. A loud winding noise had been heard outside for two hours; the noise was the cleaning service at Pizza Ranch.

 

Saturday

2:14 a.m. — A verbal warning for no plate light was issue at Ninth and Grimes.

2:50 a.m. — A noise complaint was received in the 200 block of East Buchanan.

7:13 a.m. — A verbal warning for failure to use headlamps was issued at Fourth and Briggs.

7:13 a.m. — A verbal warning for no plates was issued at 28th and Grimes.

9:06 a.m. — A verbal warning for expired registration was issued at Sixth and Burlington.

11:32 a.m. — A hit-and-run was reported in the 2000 block of Brookville Road.

12:34 p.m. — Psychiatric behavior was reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan.

12:43 p.m. — Police investigated theft in the 800 block of West Broadway.

12:59 p.m. — Assault-simple was reported at Jefferson County Law Center.

1:37 p.m. — A verbal warning for no plates was issued at Fourth and Iowa.

1:50 p.m. — A vehicle was stopped for no brake light in the 200 block of East Buchanan. Timothy Paul Hibbets, 31, of Unionville, Missouri, was cited for failure to have a valid license or permit for operating a motor vehicle.

1:52 p.m. — A police officer was flagged down at Second and Lowe. The subject had a question about directions.

3 p.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 400 block of South Sixth.

3:56 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

4:53 p.m. — A parking complaint in the 500 block of West Hempstead was received.

4:53 p.m. — Police were asked to check on the welfare of a person.

4:54 p.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 3000 block of West Grimes.

6:26 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for no driver-side headlight in the 100 block of East Burlington.

6:33 p.m. — A verbal warning for no driver-side headlight and no third brake light was issued at Seventh and Jackson.

6:47 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was reported.

7:36 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of East Hempstead.

7:55 p.m. — Police investigated drugs-narcotic violations and drugs-equipment violations at Seventh and Jackson.

7:55 p.m. — Joshua Raye Brown, 33, of Fairfield was arrested for driving under suspension (simple) at Seventh and Van Buren. At 8:09 p.m., Brown was charged with driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied.

8:38 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for an obstructed license plate at Jackson and Eighth.

10:11 p.m. — An animal was reported in the 600 block of North Court.

10:47 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

10:50 p.m. — A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 300 block of West Broadway.

11:14 p.m. — Daniel Cline, 43, of Fairfield, was arrested for assault and interference with official acts in the 100 block of South 17th. A juvenile was arrested for assault.

11:22 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 800 block of West Grimes.

 

Sunday

12:11 a.m. — Police assisted the sheriff’s office in the 400 block of Highland.

2:40 a.m. — Loud music was reported in the 1100 block of West Adams Court.

8:35 a.m. — Criminal mischief and burglary was reported in the 600 block of East Broadway.

10:39 a.m. — Police investigated an assault at Liberty and Dogwood. At 10:58 a.m., Carin Elaine Corrick, 18, of Fairfield was arrested at Seventh and Fillmore and charged with domestic abuse assault. At 11 a.m. — Garret Raymond Scott Bowermaster, 19, of Fairfield, was arrested at Seventh and Fillmore and charged with domestic abuse assault.

12:40 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

1:25 p.m. — A complaint was received in the 2200 block of West Burlington.

1:58 p.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued on Guild Drive on the Maharishi University of Management campus.

2:29 p.m. — A misdialed 911 call was received.

2:33 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 1100 block of South Third.

3:46 p.m. — A verbal warning for failure to display registration was issued at Seventh and Harrison.

4 p.m. — A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Jefferson and C.

4:07 p.m. — Police assisted EMS in the 100 block of West Harrison.

4:41 p.m. — A verbal warning for no plates was issued in the 1900 block of West Burlington.

4:52 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued for failure to display registration in the 2000 block of Brookville Road.
