The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:



6:37 a.m. — Matthew McDow, 35, of Fairfield was arrested on a warrant for violation of a no contact order.

10:49 a.m. — Robert Snyder, 62, of Batavia was arrested for third-degree theft.

11:29 a.m. — A citizen advised of fraud in the 200 block of Southgate Circle.

9:14 p.m. — Agriland FS on Grimes Avenue advised of a gas leak. The Fairfield Fire Department shut the valve off. There were no further incidents.



7:26 a.m. — Palmer Muffler on North Fourth Street advised of a burglary.

1:52 p.m. — A caller advised that two female subjects were driving around the area of Ninth Street and Briggs Avenue trying to hit him with a red car of unknown make, model or tag number. The caller told officers the name of one of the occupants inside of the vehicle. The vehicle left in an unknown direction of travel. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.




10:12 a.m. — James Francis was cited for making a U-turn on a curb or hill.



10:22 p.m. — Anthony Aaron Molyneux, 24, of East Pleasant Plain was arrested for driving while barred.
