The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:

 

Police

Thursday

8:59 a.m. — Orlando Wilburn was arrested on a warrant for violating probation.

2:37 p.m. — A citizen advised of a yellow dog that was standing in the middle of the intersection at Kirkwood Avenue and Franklin Street. The citizen reported that the dog appeared to be a pit bill that was frothing at the mouth.

3:06 p.m. — Jared Wright, 21, of Batavia was arrested for third-degree theft.

4:53 p.m. — McDonald’s Restaurant on Burlington Avenue advised of finding a lost wallet.

5:18 p.m. — Cody Champ was arrested on a warrant for violating probation.

5:26 p.m. — a citizen advised of a disturbance of the peace in the 400 block of Madison Avenue.

5:29 p.m. — A citizen advised of a theft in the 1000 block of Eighth Street.

6:05 p.m. — Austin Miller was arrested on a warrant and charged with interference of official acts.

 

Friday

1:39 p.m. — Blake Klett, 18, of Fairfield was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

5:25 a.m. — Ndayisaba Lievin of Des Moines, struck a deer in the roadway while traveling west bound on US Highway 34, east of Hemlock Avenue.
