The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:



11:03 p.m. – A citizen advised of a burglary in the 800 block of South Second Street.



8:10 p.m. – A citizen advised of a theft in the 50th block of North Sixth Street.

8:43 p.m. – A hit-and-run occurred in the 400 block of West Kirkwood Avenue.

12:57 p.m. – A citizen advised of a domestic disturbance at the Super 8 Motel on Burlington Avenue.

1:18 p.m. – Walmart on Burlington Avenue advised of a theft at the store.

1:22 p.m. – A citizen advised of suspicious activity in the 700 block of North Ninth Street.

3:53 p.m. – Police officers warned children about trespassing on the railroad right-of-way at Chautauqua Park.

4:48 p.m. – A citizen advised that she left her Bissell Power Force vacuum on her front porch and someone took it around midnight.

8:48 p.m. – a citizen advised that a Chevy Malibu was stuck in a ditch between B Street and Zimmerman Avenue. Officers discovered that the driver mixed up the gas and break pedal and drove into the ditch. The vehicle sustained $1,500 in damages.
