The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:

 

Friday

6:55 a.m. – Officers assisted emergency medical personnel with a subject who was choking in the 900 block of West Harrison Avenue.

9:52 a.m. – A citizen advised of fraud in the 500 block of East Adams Avenue.

4:27 p.m. – A citizen advised that someone stole a Schwinn LE Tour 18-speed bicycle in the 600 block of North Court Street. The bicycle, valued at $200, was taken from a locked garage.

4:42 p.m. – Officers responded to a traffic accident on West Burlington Avenue. Dalton Rippey advised that he was headed west on West Burlington Avenue and slowing down for traffic. Cursty Carson said that she tried to stop in time but her brakes wouldn’t work properly. She made contact with the rear of Rippey’s vehicle. Carson was cited for failure to maintain control.

8:48 p.m. – A citizen advised of a burglary in the 700 block of South Sixth Street.

 

Saturday

2:20 a.m. – Dakota Biggs, 25, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense.

9:11 a.m. – Brandon Hovorka was cited for failure to maintain control after striking a mailbox in the 700 block of Libertyville Road.

12:58 p.m. – A citizen advised of a hit-and-run at Fairfield Castings on West Depot Avenue.

4:27 p.m. – Joseph Waugh was arrested on a warrant for driving under suspension.

 

Sunday

12:35 a.m. – Jackie Hagans II of Fairfield was arrested for driving under suspension.

10:05 a.m. – A citizen advised that a credit card was taken from a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of South Fourth Street.

2:59 p.m. – Casey’s on Libertyville Road advised of a gas drive off.
