The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:

 

Friday

8:06 a.m. -- Donald Parker was arrested on a warrant for assault.

2:42 p.m. -- An accident occurred on Highway 1 near Casey’s General Store off Libertyville Road. Mark Ales was stopped at the stop sign on Libertyville Road. Hunter McLain was turning west off Highway 1. Ales pulled out in front of McLain, causing a collision. Ales was cited for failure to yeild upon making a left turn.

3:34 p.m. -- Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store on Burlington Avenue advised of fraud.

4:23 p.m. -- A caller advised that someone had tresspassed on his property because something was out of place.

8:39 p.m. -- A citizen advised of suspicious activity at OB Nelson Park.

8:27 p.m. -- A citizen advised of suspiciuos activity at Imperial Buffett on Burlington Avenue.

 

Saturday

12:37 a.m. -- Matthew Parra, 30, of Pheonix, Arizona, was cited for failure to respond to a steady red signal.

1:04 a.m. -- Officers responded to a domestic disturbance and continued to keep the peace.

2:08 a.m. -- Bradley Hillgartner, 28, of Fairfield was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense.

9:48 a.m. -- A caller advised of two or three men fighting in an ally.The caller could not see the subjects, but could hear them. It was unknown whether or not physical weapons were present.

1:43 p.m. -- A citizen advised of stricking a guidewire while driving on Highway 1.

3:49 p.m. -- Christopher Lee Sanders, 46, of Fairfield was cited for driving while suspended, cancelled or denied.

Sunday

2:57 a.m. -- Truitt Baxter, 37, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance second offence, for the possession of drug parphernalia and simple tresspass.

12:39 a.m. -- An accident occurred at the intersection of North D Street and East Kirkwood Avenue. Taylor Coy did not come to a complete stop at the stop sign at D Street and Kirkwood Avenue. He pulled out in front of Toni Dorr, and both vehicles were totalled. Coy was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and for no car insurance.
