The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:

 

Friday

3:40 p.m. – The Jefferson County Health Center advised of credit card fraud at the automatic teller machine.

4:43 p.m. – A citizen advised of simple domestic assault in the 200 block of East Pierce Avenue.

5:44 p.m. – A citizen advised of theft in the 900 block of West Harrison Avenue.

5:56 p.m. – A citizen advised of suspicious activity in the 900 block of West Hempstead Avenue.

6:28 p.m. – A citizen advised that she received a scam call from someone pretending to be her grandson asking for money. She said she didn’t send him any money or give him any information.

7 p.m. – A caller advised that he lost his silver computer, and that if someone turned one in, he would like to be notified.

7:22 p.m. – A citizen advised of disorderly conduct at Waterworks Park.

 

Saturday

9:51 a.m. – Benjamin Boender, 21, of Fairfild was arrested and charged with domestic abuse and assault.

3:58 p.m. – A caller advised that there was water bubbling up into the streets at the intersection of Fifth Street and Broadway Avenue.

10:52 p.m. – Casey’s General Store on Libertyville Road advised of theft.

3:14 p.m. – Russell J. Clark, 39, of Fairfield was arrested for domestic abuse.

2 p.m. – A citizen advised of theft. Officers found it to be an argument over a civil issue.
