The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:



8:17 p.m. — A citizen advised that gunshots were heard in the Fairfield High School parking lot. Police found that the noise came from fireworks.

10:24 p.m. — A citizen advised of suspicious activity at Utopia Park. Officers did a welfare check.

10:44 p.m. — Officers responded to a loud noise complaint in the 900 block of North 12th Street.



12:53 a.m. — A citizen advised of suspicious activity at Kum & Go on Burlington Avenue. Officers were unable to locate anything.

5:02 a.m. — A citizen advised of a car burglary in the 1200 block of South Seventh Street.

6:37 a.m. — A citizen reported his tires being slashed overnight.

9:13 a.m. — Several citizens living at Logan Apartments on Fourth Street advised that another tenant had been talking loudly to herself, making growling and barking noises and had threatened another resident. The tenants asked officers to make contact with the resident and address the issue.

12:40 p.m. — My Lucky Day on Fourth Street was broken into and around $25-$50 was taken from the cash register and door. Police are investigating.

9:19 p.m. — Dustin Roll, 27, of Fairfield was arrested for domestic abuse and simple assault.



1:20 a.m. — A citizen advised of suspicious activity in the 50 block of East Burlington Avenue.

5:03 a.m. — A citizen advised of suspicious activity in the 700 block of West Washington Avenue.

10:44 a.m. — Loagan Hunter Rhinehart, 21, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, interference with official acts and assault causing bodily injury.

10:55 a.m. — A burglary occurred in the 100 block of West Hempstead Avenue.

2:50 p.m. — A caller advised that a white male subject with a long ponytail, wearing shorts, exposed himself to a female subject.
