Jefferson County Board of Supervisors – Jefferson County Courthouse first-floor meeting room, 9 a.m.: acknowledge minutes; meet with county engineer; discuss and consider summer work experience program; discuss and consider purchase of pickup truck by Secondary Road Department; discuss and consider fireworks regulations; discuss and consider transferring vehicle to supervisors; discuss and consider staffing requirements of Mental Health office; consider finalizing land sale report by Dick Reed; make committee reports; public comments; allow claims and approve reports; road tour. 9:30 a.m.: public hearing to take public comments on, and objection to adding Ordinance, Chapter 6-50 establishing a policy for the construction and reconstruction of roadways and bridges on the Jefferson County Secondary Road system; consider Ordinance, Chapter 6-50 establishing a policy and reconstruction of roadways and bridges on the Jefferson County Secondary Road system.
