Jul 16, 2013

RICHLAND — Richland Public Library’s summer reading program will offer an opportunity for participants to learn about “the critters that live beneath our feet” from 3-4 p.m. July 23 at the library.

The visit with Ranger Pie Reighard from the Keokuk County Conservation Board will be followed by stories, games, crafts and a snack from 4-4:45 p.m.

The program is geared for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Preschool children can attend if accompanied by an adult caregiver.

The Richland library will show a family movie rated G or PG and provide a snack from 3-4:45 p.m. Friday. The movie is for family members of all ages, but an adult caretaker must accompany children younger than 6. Call the library at 319-456-6541 for additional information.
