Living Hope Bible Church hosts annual outdoor sporting banquet

ELDON – The Living Hope Bible Church is inviting the community to its annual outdoor sporting banquet from 2-7:30 p.m. March 11.  The menu includes venison and noodles, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, beans, bread, salad and desert. In addition to the banquet, participants can win door prizes, hear guest speakers and enjoy a silent auction. Young hunters are encouraged to attend the event. Free will offerings will be accepted.

Lenten Fish Fry at St. Joseph-Mother Cabrini Catholic Church

Pleasant Plain – St. Joseph-Mother Cabrini Catholic Church is hosting a Lenten Fish Fry from 5-7 p.m. March 10. Patrons can enjoy whole catfish or shrimp with sides.

Abingdon Church of Christ offers concert with free dinner

BATAVIA – The Abingdon Church of Christ would like to invite the community to come out at 11 a.m. March 12 and enjoy a “Bluegrass Blondies” concert with a free meal.

Faith Methodist Church hosts Chicken and Biscuit Supper

LIBERTYVILLE – The Faith Methodist Church wants the community to come out and enjoy a wholesome chicken and biscuit meal at 5 p.m. March 11. Supper includes chicken and biscuits, vegetables, a salad bar and cake and pie. Carryouts start at 4:30 p.m. or wait your turn. Free will donations will be accepted.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church offers special youth presentation

The St. Mary Catholic Church youth group is presenting the “Stations of the Cross in Silhouette” at 7 p.m. March 10. The Stations of the Cross is a way to pray and meditate on Jesus’ Passion. Meditations and music will be at each station as well as silhouettes depicted by the youth. The event is free and open to the public
