Mar 29, 2018

Rotary Club’s annual benefit auction April 6

The Fairfield Rotary Club’s Annual Benefit Auction will be held April 6 at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.

Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., with a free keg, hor d’oeuvres, and a cash bar. The live auction will begin at 6:30 p.m., with a silent auction taking place throughout the evening.

This year’s auction proceeds will benefit both the Greater Fairfield Habitat for Humanity ReStore and its addition to the current retail location and the Trojans Unite Elementary Parent Teacher Organization for their “Say YES to Recess” project. The donated funds will be used to help update the playground equipment at Washington and Pence elementary schools. The proceeds also will be used for the Rotary High School Scholarship program and for continued support of other worthy Rotary causes.

Tickets are available at the door, from a local Rotarian or online at www.fairfieldacc.com. Tickets are $10. The event is open to the public.

Ticket holders will be entered into a raffle for five cash prizes: $500 for first; $400 for second; $300 for third; $200 for fourth; and $100 for fifth.
