Fundraising breakfast in Rubio

RUBIO — The Rubio Community Building will host its annual breakfast benefit fundraiser from 7-10 a.m. Saturday at the community building.

A free will donation will be collected for the breakfast.

The menu will include biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and drinks.

Everyone is invited. The Rubio Community Building is handicapped accessible.

Breakfast on Main in Bonaparte

BONAPARTE — Bonaparte will have Breakfast on Main from 7-9 a.m. Saturday at the Bonaparte Opera House.

A full, hot breakfast will be served for a free will donation.

Keosauqua chamber dinner, auction set

KEOSAUQUA — A fundraising event to support the Keosauqua Chamber of Commerce mini-grant program is set at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Keosauqua Riverview Club.

During the event, the citizen of the year award will be presented.

Teams of four to eight people are encouraged to participate in the trivia game. A nacho bar, sundaes and an auction are planned.

Ottumwa music association concert set

OTTUMWA — Ottumwa Civic Music Association presents Cahal Dunne “Ireland’s Happy Man” at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Bridge View Center in Ottumwa.

Dunne is a pianist, singer, storyteller, comedian and television personality with that magical quality that transcends talent. He has an Irish to Broadway to country repertoire. His book “Put Your Rosary Beads Away, Ma” will be available.

Admission is $15 or by season ticket. Students are admitted free.
