Santa visit, movie set in Batavia

Dec 09, 2013

BATAVIA — Santa will be arriving by fire truck Saturday morning at the Batavia Fire Station.

Batavia children through age of 12 are invited to watch a movie and enjoy treats beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at the fire station.

Santa will arrive after the movie, and each child will receive a treat from him.

Again this year, goodie plates will be filled and delivered to senior citizens.

Anyone who would like to donate cookies or candy for the plates should call Karen Smith at 641-799-0387 or Tycene Weber at 919-4442 for details or deliver the donations by 8:30 a.m. Saturday to the fire station.

The Batavia Volunteer Fire Department, Batavia Legion, Brewington and Sons Concrete Construction, Batavia Days Committee, city of Batavia, Elliott Oil and Friends of Christmas sponsor the annual event.
