Seniors to be honored Friday night

Seniors in multiple sports and activities will be honored at Friday’s home football game between Fairfield and Solon at 7:30 p.m. inside Trojan Stadium.

The ninth-grade football team will play at 5 p.m. with four 10-minute quarters. At the conclusion of the game, senior football players, managers and cheerleaders will be honored. After senior recognition, 35 minutes will be placed on the clock for warm-ups prior to the varsity game.

Before the varsity game, the high school marching band will perform a routine, play Solon’s fight song, the entrance for the Trojan football players, Fairfield’s fight song and finally the national anthem.

Halftime will be 20 minutes long, during which the high school and middle school marching bands will perform. Senior members of the band, cross-country team and managers will be honored. Fairfield Elks will recognize the students with the most improved grade point averages.
