Sewer work

By ANDY HALLMAN | Apr 04, 2013

Fairfield city workers perform tests on a sewer line this morning along Broadway Avenue in the downtown. The city has received complaints of a foul sewer smell in the area, so the workers were attempting to uncover its source. Wastewater plant superintendent Shawn Worley said the workers were putting dye into nearby private sewer lines to find out if the lines were connected properly to the city’s sanitary sewer main.
