Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports an accident at 9:21 a.m. Sunday in Libertyville. Allison L.Humphrey, 48, of Milton, was traveling north on Hemlock Avenue pulling a horse trailer. The trailer separated when she hit a bump. The horse shifted, her vehicle went into the west ditch and the trailer overturned and slid along the shoulder. One horse was injured. The trailer was up righted and pulled away by Humphrey.

Another accident happened at 7:45 a.m. Friday. Christopher Sellers of Sigourney was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am west on Highway 34 and slowed for a right turn onto Packwood Road. Dale Clark of Ottumwa also was driving west on Highway 34 and collided with the rear of the Grand Am with a 1993 Chevrolet S10. Clark was cited for driving under suspension, no control and no insurance. His S10 had an estimated $2,000 in damages. Sellers was cited for no valid driver’s license. His Grand Am had an estimated $3,000 in damages.
