King, Gatemouth Brown, Pinetop Perkins, Koko Taylor Band, Junior Wells, Billy Branch, Magic Slim, Elvin Bishop, Sugar Blue, Lonnie Brooks, William Clarke, Lefty Dizz, Canned Heat and numerous others at festivals and at Buddy Guy’s Legends.

Winners of a number of blues awards, including: six for best blues bands from the Wisconsin Area Music Industry, two awards for Milwaukee’s Best Blues Band from the Shepherd Express Newspaper’s Readers Poll. The Reverend and his band have also been nominated in two categories for a Blues Blast Magazine Award for Best Blues Band and Song of The Year in 2012. They also were part of a Grammy Nominated CD in 2007.

Reverend Raven and his band tour throughout the U.S., Canada and the Virgin Islands in support of their latest album “Live at Big Bull.”

Opening the evening will be The Jeff Co Blues Explosion, featuring Steve McLain and Kevin Riley. Jeff Co Blues Explosion is a blend of McLain’s finger picking blues licks and gritty vocals blended perfectly with Riley’s amazing harp playing.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with music starting at 7 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Tickets for Reverend Raven and The Chain Smoking Alter Boys with West Side Andy and special guest The Jeff Co Blues Explosion are $12 in advance and for all current Southeast Iowa Blues Society members.
