The Stockport City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at city hall. Anyone who wishes to address the mayor and council needs to call city hall between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to be added to the adgenda.


Elections will be from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Stockport American Legion Hall.


According to Wayne Keller, there will be no Olde-Tyme Music Jams until after the holidays.

The Birmingham Library board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the library.


Library hours have changed. It is open 1-5 p.m. Wednesdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. It is closed Monday nights through the winter.


A blood drive is set 2:30-6:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Lions building. Call 319-498-4201 for reservations.
