‘Support Cody’ items available

Feb 25, 2013

T-shirts and bracelets are being sold to support Fairfield High School senior Cody Cohen who is fighting Myelodysplastic Syndrome and is in need of a bone marrow transplant.

The T-shirts, designed by Josie Hannes at Josie Hannes Design, feature a picture of Cohen and supportive messages on the front and information about MDS and bone marrow donation on the back. The shirts are available in youth large, adult small, adult medium, adult large and adult extra large for $12 and adult 2X, 3X and 4X for $13.

Support bracelets also are being sold for $3. The bracelets say: “Support Cody - FIGHT MDS.”

T-shirt and bracelet combos are available for $14.50. All profits will be donated to the national Be The Match registry to help offset the cost of testing potential donors for Cohen.

A registry drive set for Friday at the high school was postponed until this morning because of the cancellation of school Friday due to the weather. A registry drive also was held Saturday morning at Jefferson County Health Center.

To purchase a T-shirt, bracelet or combo, call FHS teacher Staci Wright on her cell phone at 919-6328 or at the high school, 472-2059 ext. 261. Wright also can be contacted by emailing staci.wright@fairfieldsfuture.org.

Checks can be made payable to FHS Renaissance.
