Tractor Supply Company wins for supporting 4-H program

The Fairfield Tractor Supply Company store was recently recognized for winning the “Class Champion” award for meeting company goals during the 4-H/TSC Spring 2013 Paper Clover Promotion.

Store employees at the Fairfield TSC store had 26.6 percent of all transactions include a 4-H Paper Clover purchase and was presented with a ribbon from 4-H to recognize the achievement.

The 4-H/TSC Paper Clover Campaign is a nationwide, in-store fundraiser that benefits 4-H programming in the communities where a TSC store is located. The spring campaign raised more than $500,000 to supports 4-H on the local, state, and national level. During the 12-day promotion, which ran May 8-19, the Fairfield TSC raised $301 for 4-H in Jefferson County.

The effort has provided direct support for local camps, after-school programs and other activities, and has granted scholarships to these events so youth can explore their interests in everything from animal science to robotics. In Jefferson County, the Paper Clover funds have gone to support day camps.
