Trojans begin their journeys

The six seniors from the FHS baseball team will be spreading their talents across the midwest. Here are where you should send your care baskets this fall.

 

James Lyman

Iowa State to study Mechanical Engineering

 

Hunter Hoskins

Kirkwood to study Geospacial Technology which is the mixture of gps mapping systems and farm equiptment.

“I’ll probably try out for the baseball team in a couple weeks. I’m just going to keep staying loose and avoid getting rusty and see what happens.”

 

Graham Kuehl

The University of Iowa to study Sports Management

 

Hunter Drish

Going to Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois and majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy and playing baseball.

“I’d like to grow an inch or two and get to six foot and gain 20 pounds since I only weigh 160. It’s a four year school and they are looking at me to stay in the outfield, although I don’t know how much I’ll play my freshmen year.”

 

Jimmy Kurka

Marshalltown Community College to study Physical Therapy

 

Cade Lisk

Going to Mason City to play baseball at NIACC and study Ag Business.

“I want to open a landscaping business and I figured I’d get the agricultural side and then learn the business side.”
