Trojans travel to Pella, suffer two losses

The Fairfield bowling team traveled to Pella Excita-bowl Saturday to take on the Little Dutch, losing both the boys’ and girls’ varsity matches, but winning the junior varsity match.

Head Coach Lisa Greenig said, “The bowlers are already showing signs of improvement. We will continue to work on getting a consistent release on the first ball and improving spare shooting.”

Next up for Fairfield’s flamethrowers is a match tonight in Keokuk where the boys and girls will have varsity matches, however, only the junior varsity boys team will compete as the Chiefs are unable to field a JV bowling team on the girls’ side.
