By DIANE VANCE | Mar 22, 2013

Fairfield Lions Club vice president Scott Vaughan, left, awarded cash-incentive scholarship prizes to Fairfield High School students Tyler Cooksey, center, and Bryana Gridley Friday. Cooksey and Gridley, along with Hanna Kerr, not pictured, were the top three student sellers of tickets to the Lions Club annual spaghetti dinner supporting Fairfield High School activities. Cooksey sold the most tickets, 24, and received $75; Kerr sold 11 tickets and received $50; and Gridley sold nine tickets, and received $25. Proceeds from the fundraising dinner are still coming in. The total amount raised is more than $3,500, said FHS Activities Director Jeff Courtright. The total amount raised will be announced at the Brookhart Relays April 29. The money raised goes to support FHS athletic programs as well as fine arts programs such as band, chorus, drama and speech.
